Women in the UK tired of being harassed
Stood up in a vigil and the police caused a clash,
Women ascertain that being female feels unsafe
And the Met Police showed the ugly face,
Not of the force of law but of the law of force
Caused a situation of anger as per the course,
This is what happens every time,
When the people stand up and have their say,
And now the government is trying to pass a new law
That will take most protests away,
They label certain movements terrorists in nature
And they will get to choose who,
When they pass that white paper,
They’re eroding democracy and free speech every day
Cancel culture stops us from having any say,
This action that was seen by the police was a disgrace,
Oppressing women and their rights in ever way.
