I own my sins, mistakes and my regrets

So your pointing the finger is second best,

I have learnt to be honest with myself

And though not proud of them at least I know them,

I don’t kid myself that they were mistakes or sins

At least regret shows some remorse,

I will forgive myself in due course

Let those not flawed and perfect stand up now,

And I will say you’re lying, not just to me but to themselves

Yet by the same token I’ve done so much good,

But I don’t ask for praise because I know I should

Through knowing right from wrong,

But sometimes we succumb to life seductions,

And travel down the wrong path

It happens to all but at least by finding our way back on course,

Should be credit to one and all,

So free yourself any and be the change,

Living Iife a better way will counteract

All mistakes and sins we made.
