I am losing so my of my hope

And my dreams are fading away,

In a world where it’s so hard to cope

I see it getting worse every day,

Our leaders lie and cheat

And apparently that’s ok,

As I see our society accepting this decay

And religious leaders fornicate,

But apparently that is also ok

Where did it all go wrong?

When did it all go this way

Or maybe it’s been this way always,

But I’ve only just become awake enough to see

The sickness and brutality which is,

Residing in our messed up society.
