There’s a darkness

At the heart of our system,

It’s an endemic virus

And it’s called politicians,

It infects our society

It’s brutality is focused,

Upon the very poor and needy

And it benefits the greedy,

Look how they live

They live ostentatiously,

While all else live in poverty

And they rig rules and laws,

To work in favour of their cause

To gain maximum money and power,

Looking down on us

From their ivory towers,

Gaining money from lobbyists

Meanwhile we struggle to exist,

Crippled by low pay and debt

Yet you keeping voting for them,

Have you not fucking got it yet,

They are a virus killing people

With their corrupted ways

And it’s just so obscene,

We need a change

And we need it urgently,

Let’s finally put an end to this disease

That depends on you living with this virus silently.
