After the storm

Wide eyed, I stare at the moon

Mouth open, I stand agog staring at the stars,

Rain had fallen but now had stopped

The freshness of nature cannot be dropped,

All around me is now just silence

Following the storms thunder and lightening violence,

But no longer does the storm hold true

Now something had replaced, something new,

And kind of spiritual peace now resides here

In the ebony night that is now beautifully clear.
