Around the world young kids are starving
Around this globe children are dying,
The amount of total disrespect and neglect
Leaves me astounded I did not expect,
For our fellow mankind to be so brutal
Yet the media and government won’t be truthful,
They’ll tell us everything is ok as children live in the decay
Of countries bombed out or exploited,
The truth is, it’s hard not to be disappointed
By the lack of any care or any kind humanity,
And I wonder why life can’t treat them a whole lot compassionately.
