It saddened me to see

People voting for xenophobia and greed,

Voting off the back of media and government lies

These to me are now very strange times,

Where selfishness is all the rage

And a battle against those narcissists is being waged,

But we drowning under the wave

Of ignorance, spite and hate,

Of which the internet needs to share the blame

Anonymous people posting stuff,

Full of anger, bile and lacking love,

It saddens me to see, this deterioration in society

Where showing empathy is a sign that your weak,

Well I don’t care because this appeals to me

So you can take your new society,

And fuck off because it’s not for me

And that’s with all my love you better believe this, truly.
