Have I just blown in from stupid town

Or am I missing something more profound,

Isn’t government meant to represent it’s people

Treating every citizen as equal,

Yet what actually happens is government grabs

All the power and all the cash,

Then sets up a dictatorial nanny state

Then breeds division, greed and hate,

This is not what I thought government was meant to do

It’s meant to follow the wishes of me and you,

Not based simply on some formulated statistical majority rule,

That ensures no voice for all those who

Have a right to have their voices invested in the truth,

Governments are meant to be the servants

So what we need is a public insurgence,

To take back government and democracy

Based on freedom, peace, love and liberty.
