Truth seekers,
Truth speakers,
Are feared in this dystopian world
Fitting in and following,
Never veering from the norm,
That’s the so called ideal dream
But I rebel, shout and scream,
Truth from every vantage point
Dispersing lies, I disappoint,
Those in control,
Those in power,
I won’t bow down
To this corrupt, controlling shower,
Instead I find my own power within
Find real truths from questioning,
Anything that seems not to fit
I choose the way I wish to exist,
Not to be born unknown,
And die to be forgotten
In a system and world do misbegotten,
Instead each day I’ll rise like the sun
Spreading rays of truth,
Until each day is done.
