Life gets harder every day

And distraction get in the way

The struggle we fight continues

And no matter what people may say

I work hard and do do much

For everybody else

I find that too few do anything for me

And that’s fine I guess because they don’t see

I can stand strong on my own two feet

And although life tries to undermine me

I carry on doing these things

Because despite the struggle and hardship

Helping others can make you feel good in everyway

It’s still hard with distractions getting in the way.
