I lay in a wildflower meadow

With bees buzzing around me,

Staring up at the radiant sun

Remembering all the memories of love,

In my mind they will never be gone,

I lay on the lush green grass that tickles my skin

As insects crawl off and on again,

And I dream of my hopes and aspirations

And how they can be achieved by me,

Life’s nothing if you never dream

Sometimes, life’s not as bad as it seems,

When you take time out and dwell in nature’s beauty.
