We must become the curators

The ambient nature of life

Is like a contexture of environs weaving into one,

In the same way corporations and governments weave lies

And the mise-en scene captures the beauty of our dreams

Of Amazonian jungle themes,

And the milieu of various species sing and scream

An orchestral chorus cadenza rings out so loudly,

And I ask myself what brutal minds would think of destroying

Everything that nature has created,

Their dreams of greed constantly not satiated,

We must become ecological curators,

Protecting that which is not theirs to chop and burn

But rather than exploiting we must start nurturing,

Both earth and our humanity to retain the beauty,

And eliminate the brutality of man.
