Sizzling heat

Sizzling in the heat of the day

There’s nowhere to find shade,

In barren deserts where people live

High temperatures means it hard to exist,

Dried up water beds offering no sustenance

No crops grow, and we all must know,

That mankind wasn’t made to live

In a sizzling heat like this,

So animals die and so do people

On the plains of Africa,

Could we do more? Yes we could do more

To help our fellow human beings

And other species that give life meaning,

Because the world’s getting way too hot.

  1. I have a three-tier blow-up pool for my daughter on the side of my house. And it is so hot that it already started to get the green stuff in the bottom of the pool after two days and it had a cover

    1. I don’t know. I used to years ago see my posts in the reader section, then it stopped. I don’t know why it did. I preferred seeing my posts in those reader categories. 🙏Faux

  3. The people who have the power to act are too busy figuring out how to rake in more money. How they will bleat when it catches fire.

  4. Absolutely spot on! The world is getting way too hot and way little is done to correct it. Passing the buck would not serve the cause this time over.
