Say something

Please say something

Or is it just impossible,

To speak of what you know

Unspeakable of what you see,

Deep down we burn

And in the shadows

Of this derelict place,

I find it hard to live this way

In the dampness and the mould,

I no longer feel whole

And from pole to pole,

I see so many things

That truly disturb me,

And so I put my headphones on

And close my eyes tight,

To keep out the horrors

And pray for the light,

And as the sounds pound

Through my ears,

Deep into my head,

I see the bodies laying dead

In this brutal world,

It’s hard to say something

That will justify this,

Sights that nothing can wash away

It’s sick and so depraved,

And here march

The black shirts again,

In roll the death machines

Decorating front pages of magazines,

I am going crazy

So maybe it’s time to throw a party,

A global liberation bloc party,

That will help get the revolution started

To reclaim the streets, our homes, our lives,

So we can finally banish the darkness

And at last let once more the sun rise.
