Politicians they preach to us

Tell laws they make are a must,

Stick by them you’ll be ok

But it’s fine for them to break,

Politicians do what they like

But they insist we tow the line,

Speak as if their white than white

But we’re not stupid we know they lie,

Yet we let them off the hook

Of corruption, greed and hypocrisy they wrote the book,

We accept the unacceptable that’s understood

Can it be changed? Yes it could,

Will it be changed? Probably not,

People just let them off because they don’t believe

They have that kind of influence and power,

But they do and could make the politicians cower,

But things just go on the same

And so nothing is going to change,

Moment you try media will say

You’re an anarchist, subversive to put you back into your place,

To make you seem as if you’re extreme

Riotous, bad people and mean,

But it’s not it’s because we care

And do what others wouldn’t dare,

To create a society that’s fair

But politicians don’t want us to go there,

They don’t want their boat rocked

Because of this we’ll always be fucked.
