Does nobody see the distraction but me
Throughout my friends and family
They talk about all the trouble on the news
You know the shit the media spews
While failing to mention the most important thing
Just how this planet is climate changing
But they bury all this like it just doesn’t matter
What is the agenda and all the governments just chatter
While doing nothing and corporations get fatter
Because no legislation or laws ensue
To stop our being destroyed, exploited and used
By the fat cats to increase their wealth and their greed
While meanwhile we do nothing to plant any seeds
To nurture and heal our environment and nature
That we need to do now or there will be no future or later
We’ll have missed any chance to turn this shit around
And mankind will head for extinction
And as we go well take all other life down.
