What’s it take to work it out

Do we just cast away the doubt,

If I turn myself inside out

Will I hear my subconscious shout,

If I eat my tail like a snake

As if in the Ouroboros tale make no mistake,

Will I find some answers in this

I cast a line in hope to catch a fish,

But if I catch nothing what does this mean

I am I in some kind of Sisyphus dream,

Will it be a sign I am going insane

Or will it expand my mind in different ways,

Inside out and upside down

So below is the same above ground,

Subterranean terrestrial life

If I cut myself with a knife,

Do I not bleed and feel pain

Maybe there’s something to be gained,

In this kind of self suffering

I see my life slowly buffering,

Will it play at the end of this

Or will there be a sudden plot twist,

Is it written within the stars?

A plot line that has travelled far,

Or created within my conscious mind

Or have I been caught on both hook and line?
