These future times

Of travel amongst the stars

Brought new races from afar,

Now we mix in a Galactic milieu

Trading much more than we used to,

And people still remained the top of that list

And on this day a huge man with bucket like hands,

Came in with just one demand

To crew his ship with various people,

But with a concubine to date his needs

And a lost girl was brought out,

She had no family, they’d been killed because of her father’s name

He was once part of all this game,

The giant man liked what they offered

And a handsome sum her proffered,

She didn’t want this but had no choice

He threw in a hold of his ship she had no voice,

He abused her and used her in many ways

She bided her time and then one day,

She seized her chance while in a bar fray

She shot her captor as other guns fired

And from that moment her freedom she acquired,

And ambushed the crew as they returned to the ship

She had guns strapped to her hips,

Said she would kill everyone

Unless they took their chance to run,

And run they did and she found a new crew

Who like her were female victims too,

And from then on they traversed the universe

Helping those suffering and hurt,

She as the Captain, clad in leathers and lace

She found a new home on a peaceful planet deep in space,

And from their they carried out raids

Picking up waifs and strays,

And soon enough word got around

Not to mess with her, not now,

Or at any other time

Because she would challenge any crime,

She was of a determined mind

To put right all that she saw wrong,

And she became a Galactic force of good

And made safe many planetary neighbourhoods.
