Lies and misinformation

Put out by the public relation teams,

Of governments who wish to control it’s people

Through fear and any other means,

Quashing peoples hopes and dreams

Oppressing their freedom of speech,

That’s why it’s to question everything

Because nothing is as it really seems,

If you’ve ever looked closely you’d know what I mean

And they’ll tell you it’s all conspiracy,

But maybe it’s critical thinking I believe

Which is good in dystopian society,

When government choose to feed

It’s people with poison and disease,

The very meaning of democracy,

Polluting the truth with fake facts

Any and all credibility they now lack,

You see, they’ve set their own scene

Bad government is nothing but obscene,

And this is too often seen by the likes of you and me

And when you see in the governments greed,

That they ignore the peoples needs

Deaf to ordinary peoples pleas,

It’s wrong and is reflected in society

Manifesting in the form of poverty,

But do they care? I don’t see any proof they do

When life keeps getting so much harder for me and you.
