Trans-dimensional tripping

Feel your world begin to start slipping,

Disappearing into a black matter void

It’s like through your whole life the universe has toyed,

With you and your emotional state

And now as the ground starts to shake,

All you can see us stars passing by you so fast

It’s like you’re travelling at warp speed,

To quick for the normal eye to see

Then you end up upon your knees,

Looking down at the ground covered with golden seeds,

And they then spring forth an amazing harvest

Of flax and wheat and barley for as wide as you can see,

Then a sun beats down on me and the harvest is replaced verdantly

With a carpet of every greens until from deep down underneath,

Wild flowers and blooms spring forth

From an unknown, undefined source,

Then in a flash I am sailing across seas

Of the cleared aquamarine unpolluted by thee or me,

It’s a wondrous thing to see and yet hard to believe

This is how our world could be, if we treated more carefully,

I see dolphins leaping and diving

Fish of all kind and I keep marvelling,

At the rainbow colours abounding

This whole trip is so astounding,

Then in a heartbeat I am rooted back

Into my normal reality and I look around me,

And see nature in all its scarcity

I wonder where did it all go so wrong,

You can scarcely hear any birdsong,

And it upsets me to know because of ignorance and greed

Our world has been diminished,

And if we carry on it’ll be finished

We need to live more simply based on need and not on greed,

We need not to exploit but to nurture

To grow back our paradise our nature,

We need to become again a part of it

Rather thing we’re more than this,

We are minute, we are tiny but we think we’re everything

We need to take another look and take time to think again.
