Halloween traditions

It’s Halloween

Jack-o’- lantern time,

From Celtic pagan days

Celebrated by the Irish,

To an American immigrant

Traditional holiday,

It’s changed from ritual

To parties and costumes,

Connected to scary things

And tales of horror,

Once what was a ritual faith

Now good business it does make,

Selling toffee apples

And sugar canes,

It’s hard to believe

How much has changed.
