Right to your fair say

Some speak with kindness

Some speak in hate,

In our society we built today

Both have the freedom

To have their fair say,

But more and more

I sometimes wish it wasn’t this way,

For our society is more toxic

Than it’s ever been,

And the haters are growing

And they’re poisoning,

The minds of the vulnerable

The minds of the weak,

Our future is gloomy

Our future is so bleak,

And as those who try spreading

The message of kindness and love,

Are being drowned out

By those who spread

Toxic division and doubt,

And those who try and do good

Are mocked and arrested,

While the haters are allowed to

Do want they want and they wish,

Unchallenged and unquestioned

They’ve become like a new trend,

Their kind of living

Will be humanities end,

What’s so bad in being tolerant

Understanding and kind,

Wants wrong with wanting peace

And resonating love all the time,

But I guess I am a lucky one

I’ve natural immunity

To the nonese they preach,

And to their uneducated idiocy,

Their parasitic thoughts

Cannot permeate my life,

And yes I know I am flawed

And yes I am not always right,

But still I know the negativity is wrong

And so I stand without fear,

Yes I am still standing strong

After a life of within this society,

And witnessing things

That I was ashamed to hear and see,

Yet others celebrated

The carnage that was wraught,

These are the stories

That they’ll never teach in schools,

Stories of truth hidden by propaganda

Telling lies and deceiving

Has now become our new banner

Some speak with kindness

Some speak in hate,

In our society we built today

Both have the freedom

To have their fair say.
