Take notice of me

Is the attitude

Of those today in society,

Who need the attention

For their narcissistic ways,

Everyone looking at them

Is all that they really crave,

They don’t care if they’re loved

They don’t care if they’re hated,

As long as you’re paying attention to them

Then their ego is maturbated,

To a climax that they get off on

More than anything else life,

But take a closer look

You’ll see these people are full of lies,

Making out they’re something special

But they’re not, they’re lost and lonely,

Everything you see in their appearance screams out phoney,

What we need today are hero’s and legends

To take us to the promised land and a universe of dreams

That’s still more believe than the narcissistic reality.
