Life is what happens to us
What we allow and what we don’t,
What we forgive and what we tolerate
What we fear and what we hate,
Life is a never ending game
Of judgement and uncertainty
Of gambling and reflectivity,
Life is a series of expanding lessons to be learned
To not become to cold the freeze
Not to become to hot so that we burn,
It’s a series of checks and balances
Where in the end you go quietly into the light
Or you go down fighting for everyone and everything into the dark night.
