We need to make changes in the new year

We need to eradicate hate and all the fear,

I no longer want people dying that cause me to shed tears

So I think it’s about time to change our lives,

Let’s no see people washed up on our beaches

Sold a dream by greedy men and leeches,

Who point to a better life and are exploiting

Their vulnerability and desperation,

I no longer want to hear lies from politicians

I want to see more money pumped into healthcare,

I want everybody so start to care and to share

I want a happier society where people are treated fair,

I don’t think this is much to ask it we must all work

To bring about these changes to stop the hurt,

Let’s build a better world not one that gets worse

There is this opportunity to prosper rather than be cursed.
