Dickensian tropes
And lacking all hope,
We will always find those
Who if you take note,
Will always harp back
On those bygone days,
Where things were different
But now things have changed,
And they think it was better
But it was just different,
But they won’t believe this
They are continually reticent,
But the answers we need
Do not lurk in the past,
You talk about all of our
Past glories and victories,
But if you look more closely
You’ll see the brutalities,
And the continual
Lack of any humanity,
Being shown to each other
Mankind has always been cruel,
To this earth and to species
Animals both great and all,
We’ve always polluted corrupted
We’ve alway done bad things,
And it’s no different now
But we’ve a chance to begin,
And if we all come together
In an act of mass unity,
We can demand something different
Based on love and equality,
Where peace and compassion
Get taught in every school,
Where we realise as people
We don’t need to be ruled,
By the rich and vacuous
By the lying, greedy powerful,
We can demand better systems
To be used as our tools,
To develop and to grow
More caring societies,
No matter your colour
No matter your class or your creed,
That doesn’t persecute
Genders or sexualities,
But that promotes kindness
And tolerance as a new way of thinking,
And then we may feel life
Will be far more exciting,
For we will start to achieve
The things that we believe,
Will make this world better
Like healing environmentally,
And no longer fighting and hating
On each other through wars,
This is the way to start opening doors
And evolving and transcending,
And manifesting what we need
A far more holistic and existential societity,
Where we eradicate discrimination
And suffering through poverty,
And maybe we’ll find
Our lives will be more happy,
A utopian dream you say
But I know it can be achieved,
It just takes everyone else who reads this
To also join me and believe,
In the creation of a better
Spiritual humanity,
And ditch all the old mistakes
And the conditioned insanities,
And to demand something more
Something that will make all proud,
Something that gives us just blue skies
Not grey chiaroscuro grey clouds,
That hang over us all
Causing depression and anxiety,
But lifts us all up to much higher frequencies.
