There’s a disparity

Within our society,

Where some maintain

The ethics and morals,

And some just succumb

To materialism and greed,

Like that is going to make

Their life somehow complete,

And it’s tearing apart

The fabric of decency,

And some love and care

While others choose to hate,

Which is causing division

That runs deep within

This society and state,

Undermining the foundations

Causing this life we know,

To fall apart or to break.
