I am not an out and out conspiracy theorist
But I understand the danger of not asking questions,
And of not delving a lot deeper
Trying to understand what is going on,
Not just believing everything you’re told
By those with agendas and policies,
Those with secrets they would rather keep
It’s an intellectual thing to do,
Examine the facts as presented to you,
It’s a lot less smart to just accept the facts
Without the information you’ll lack,
Anyway to know if it’s true for me and you
Conspiracy theories are about discovering the truth,
Conspiracy theories are formed from an inquiring mind
Being able to decipher the truth among the lines,
Being able to read between the lines at times,
Understanding that not to do so can render you blind
And if someone questions why, then see the signs,
That maybe not wanting you to see how things are defined
Then maybe they’re the ones with something they’re trying to hide.
