Being poor is getting harder

Getting by is now so tough,

The divides between have not and the haves

Is getting wider every day,

Yet when you say there’s a better more equal and fair way

Others will get up in your face,

Shouting you down

And calling this absurd,

Most using the rich man’s words,

Used by dreamers who see themselves

One day up their enjoying the wealth,

It’s a nice dream but it may never happen

So why would you stand and watch as the divide grows wider,

Especially when there is enough to go around,

Sharing and caring is a philosophy, that always has been and always will be sound.
