Breathlessly I try to run
From everything that’s going on,
Over rickety wooden bridges
Past bystanders who look dismissive,
Across tarmac and wood chip surfaces
Jumping across trickling streams,
While under my breath I mutter curses
Running breathlessly chest now hurting,
Heart beating faster cheeks are burning
Trying to get away my head feels like bursting,
The situation keeps on worsening
Run away, run away, I need to get away.
