Chiaroscuro sky in the morning
Another sad day is now dawning,
You left me here so devastated it’s true
What now am I supposed to do,
You tore my heart into shreds
Tears from my eyes repeatedly bled,
Leaving our one vibrant love for dead
Next thing I knew like a coward you fled,
The scene of this love crime
No acknowledgement or even a sign,
Now you’ve left me as the one doing time
Feeling the hurt and pain of a tormented mind.
