Imagine we as communities

Came together to plant trees,

And grow plants in the inner cities

Imagine if we installed inspiring statues,

Put up aspirational videos on screens

That encouraged everyone to work together,

To beautify their neighbourhoods

So that they look good,

Which in turn would help people feel good

That would raise up hopes and spirits,

Encouraging people to mix and unite

To work on something that feels so right,

Endorsing a future beautiful and bright

Now wouldn’t that be a wonderful sight,

It could spread so much love and light

And bring our environment back to life,

In places now that are just cold concrete landscapes

From which it can feel there’s no escape,

We could let through vibrant colours

The sun back into everyone’s life.
