I laugh at people who put stock

In politicians protecting their flocks,

Politicians look after themselves

When push comes to the shove,

In their minds we could go to hell

When it comes to fighting for us,

Or about maintaining their wealth

Politics can seriously damage our health,

Leaders are corrupt and they lie

Many are xenophobic racist types,

They’ll throw you under a bus

To save their own hides,

And care not one iota about our cries,

Don’t pitch one side against another to me

Because I’ll just laugh and I’ll just leave,

For only a fool plays their political games

And doing right by people isn’t their aim,

Truth be told we need something wholly new

Trust me politicians don’t care for you,

Because their self interests will always come first and that’s the truth.
