I don’t understand you

At least that’s what you say,

But I find you so complicated

I guess that causes the strain,

We all feel things do personal

And this gets in the way,

I just want to love you

Simply each and every day,

But in the stress and the emotions

I feel you keep pushing me away,

And that’s not saying you’re to blame

I know my flaws get to you each day,

I never tried to pretend I am perfect

But I just don’t know what to say,

So you say I don’t understand you

But it’s something I try to do,

But I find that you’re so complicated

But maybe it’s just that I am a fool,

And I am willing to accept this truth

Yet in my clumsy and foolish ways,

I just want to share my love, with you.
