I never mistreated you

But you said that was not true,

You like to twist things around

But you were happy spending my pounds,

You said that you could not trust me

Yet it was a distorted belief you see,

I was working hard to support

You and our family but you wouldn’t believe me,

It doesn’t however mean that’s the facts

Any evidence you sadly lack,

But you were happy to fill your life’s cracks

With all my earnings after tax,

So I don’t understand why you want me here

When I am so awful, you make that clear.
