Susceptible to beauty

A sucker for love,

In a world of cynicism

You just can’t get enough,

Of love, beauty and kindness

And this is something we can all share,

It doesn’t cost us anything

Yes, try it if you dare,

And embrace what’s good

In a way we all know we should,

Because I think it’s understood,

That it’s some we all crave

And it’s something we all need,

Praise the fact that we exist

And get up off your knees,

And claim each day

And shine your light in everyway,

Bring some hope and happiness

Some may call this sappiness,

But I don’t care because I just want to share

The wonder that is life,

And if we fight for what is fair

Equality is something rare,

And that’s a shame

Within this day and age,

Why is it that we’re not all amazed

Because that’s the way we should all be raised,

So let’s make it the case for all our future days

And start to evolve in a far better way,

Thank you for listening all my friends

This is all I had to say,

I am just simply hoping to promote a happier future age

And put an end to our societies decay,

For never has there been a better time to change

And hopefully war and hate and greed will fade away,

This is my dream, this is my hope

That one day we’ll see peace and harmony win the day,

And we can all just sit back and relax

And absorb all the love that comes in waves,

In future days.
