Sometimes it’s easier to think we’re smarter than what we really are
Sometimes we think we’re experts about subjects too far,
Beyond our understanding and beyond our ken
And it would be far more intelligent in the end,
To say you just don’t know and it’s beyond what you know
Or we can end up looking stupid and putting it on show,
So be careful what you talk about and what you say
Or you’ll take away the argument and the debate,
Of whether you are just mistaken or if you’re just simply dumb
Sometimes it’s best to say nothing and simply stay mum.
