Fly on golden wings of glory

Repeated from ancient stories,

Stood strong in the face of the storm

As if it were a mission since I was born,

Side by side we were defiant

We learnt the lesson of being triumphant,

We achieved this through love

Rather than choosing violence,

Which only leaves the world in silence,

The power of the masses could not be matched

And they were fearful that we may attack,

The threat was enough for their surrender

We were represented by people of all colours, faith and genders,

It was a force of unity and strength

That we were willing to go to any lengths,

To be the saviours and put an end to their reign

That was held in place by ignorance and the inane,

Who simply followed orders without questioning

Their obedience is astonishing,

Like lemmings they followed blindly

But we were armed with truth which is something that they couldn’t see,

So now we fly on golden wings of glory

And now we can finally write our only story,

Of salvation and of heroes and legends

Who brought about success for humanity in the end.
