Glories stem from past failures
That taught us how to be strong,
And come again and again
Rather than staying on the ground,
Wallowing in self pity and pain
Our glories come from getting back up,
In defiance and self growth
Of learning how we got it wrong,
And by swearing on an oath
To not repeat those mistakes again,
And rebuilding in new ways,
A recipe for success and glory
Then putting it into action,
To see us being victorious in every way,
Then placing upon our heads
To show we’re our own king in our own realm,
And so the glories that we attained
Will resonate throughout our reign,
And show us how good it is to be triumphant
And how it shines a luminescent light upon our happy and contented days.
