I read social media every day

I witness the division and the hate,

Posted by the ignorant and the inane

They fear so much in every way,

The fear skin colour and people of different faiths

They fear genders and people who are gay,

They constantly try to bear bait

But it’s them who come across insane,

With their fear, fear, fear they leave in their wake

Armies of colour, genders, migrants and gays,

Coming to our lad to destroy us

Yet guess what country obliterates,

Sovereign countries time and time again

Destroying villages, cities and towns,

Killing innocent people indiscriminately

The one great empire, the mighty UK,

With its fascist, xenophobic, racist clans

Fearfully spouting hate across the land,

Trying to impose a right wing master plan

But who is scared of everything different from them,

And all of the things that they don’t understand,

Quaking in fear they make ludicrous demands

To seal the borders or we’ll all be damned,

They believe climate change is all a ruse too

They lack facts, and tell many untruths,

They lack evidence and education too

The people who try to scare me and you,

Who you’ll find hiding quaking in their boots

But who are fearless on social media attacking and denying what’s true.
