Time slips by so slow when you are young

But when you’re older it goes so fast,

It’s so important to make the most of it,

Through sharing and caring while showing love

And still appreciating it when life gets tough,

It’s the ups and downs that give us the experience

Of worldly wisdom that creates sustenance,

And as we live and learn we grow so much

And develop a kind and human touch,

That makes life more positive and enjoyable

While also making us more durable,

To the rollercoaster life that’s in front of us.
