Indigenous people in the Amazon forest

Have their homes stolen in the name of profit,

Trees cut down then burned and the ground poisoned

Long enough for the farmers to move in to rear beef,

This is sacrilegious that’s my true belief

And for the many tribes there is no relief,

The destruction now stands at fifteen percent

The tipping point is twenty five so we need to dissent,

To help the indigenous people and the environment

By demanding more action from all governments.
