Who said that they had a tough life,

Then they say if you take a look at them

Then you’ll say they turned alright,

And that as a result of this so called truth

If you suffered the same way too,

Then you will surely turn out alright

But when you analyse and examine it through,

I think you’ll discover the truth, that you’re not alright

And I think you’ve been fooled,

The fact is if you want others to suffer too

I think you’ll find my friend you are brutal,

I never want to see others suffer if there’s no need too

I don’t think you need to live by this rule,

With love and care we can help them through

To live better lives than me and you,

Without the hardships that we have gone through,

Now ain’t that the real truth.
