In the dark dank chambers of life

I see where evil truly lies,

It crouches there ready to strike

It’s blackness shuts out the light,

As if in a full eclipse phase

It blocks out all lights rays,

And it leaves everything so cold

And it becomes a place in which nothing grows,

Deep down in the shadows below

Where the vulnerable can’t help but go,

I see a river of evil that flows

And those who fall in lose all life and hope.
