They poison our earth
And they pollute our skies,
Fill the seas with microplastics
And pump into rivers sewage all the time,
And so if you ask me what scares me
I will tell you straight and honestly,
I am scared for future generations
That will not be able to cope,
With the legacy we are leaving behind
And it’s not like we don’t know,
That’s all that truly scares me.
