Governments do nothing over climate change
Except for finding new money making ways,
That’s on the one side a tale of abject failure
On the other side it’s ignorance that will lead to euthanasia,
Flat earthers and those who bang about the great reset
It’s not critical thinking it’s an intellect that is beset
With conspiracy theories rooted in fear no more no less,
The truth is only the younger generation get the point
That nurturing nature is the way and not just see earth as a resource to exploit,
The multinational corporations are no better than locusts
Stripping away and leaving nothing behind except barren destruction,
Their policies are not based on trying to produce foodstuffs for all to eat
Their policies are always rooted within their greed,
Like everything we have to find and strike the right balance
Both of these extremes have got it fucking wrong,
Nurturing our natural resources will make us strong
Nurturing our nature will ensure our humanity continues on.
