I look out of the window

And what is it I see,

A lovely sunny day

One as peaceful as can be,

It’s hard to equate this too

The hardship in our lives sometimes,

And that no matter how hard things can be

We can find some positivity,

In a lovely sunny day

Where we can kid ourselves things are ok,

And that things could be a lot worse

Despite our own internal pain and hurt.

And if we find that works,

Then for a short time on a sunny day

Let all the worries dissipate,

And enjoy that peaceful moment

Which may be rare,

And may seldom come again.
