Back in the day before the. Internet

We all would go to the discotheque,

We were all excited and ready for fun

Dressed up and acting pretty dumb,

But it was a great time back then

But now with social media we all know,

What everybody has done before the disco

Where we used to want to find out what others had been doing

It’s all over social media so the excitement has been ruined,

And we know the outfits we all are going to wear

And everything that we need to know is already out there,

So it’s a real anticlimax compared to how things used to be

When we loved going out with everybody,

Knowing nothing about anyone at all
