Money is so tight in these times
Can’t afford to pay the rent I find,
Scrimping to buy some food to dine
No wonder some people turn to crime,
It’s a sign of the times and a corruption of mind
Being starved by a government that isn’t to kind,
To those at the bottom while giving to the rich
How long until people finally say fuck this,
And demand something better and demand something more
No money for hospitals or to feed the poor,
But there’s always enough money to fund fucking wars
This is an outrage and should be a breach of our laws.
