Be bold and courageous

Don’t shut yourself down,

Say what you feel, needs to be said

People like reading the words,

That they may be afraid to utter

Don’t be afraid of being brave,

Speak the truth clearly

And not uttered in a whisper or mutter,

Call things out as you see it

And if you believe in what you write and you say,

Then trust me everything will be ok

It’s only when we pull out punches,

That others recoil, but not from the power

But the fact that the message was spoiled,

You made a start then in your fear

You then watered the importance down,

You could have shone in the limelight

But in the end you decided to drown,

In a sea of worrying what others may think and think you may sound.
